The Opportunity

Xenith Consulting is a long-standing and very highly regarded full-service mining consulting firm headquartered in Brisbane. We are excited to announce that we are establishing a new office in West Perth and are now seeking full-time experienced metals sector Senior Resource Geologists and Resource Geologists to become key members of our new Perth team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in Xenith’s growth.

As an experienced geologist you will have a high level of technical experience in block modelling of metalliferous deposits. You will be strong at developing positive working relationships with our valued clients and with your fellow Xenith teammates. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, as well as autonomously managing packages of work and developing technically excellent solutions within your area of expertise.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (or higher), majoring in Geology.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in Resource estimation practices including strengths in:
  • Geological modelling, Domaining, Wireframing, Block modelling, Geostatistical grade analysis, Grade interpolation, and Report writing.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to interpret and articulate technical information accurately and succinctly.
  • Competent Person capability for JORC Mineral Resource estimation sign-off.
  • Strong understanding and capability in geological modelling software applications – in particular currency with Vulcan/Datamine/Leapfrog/Micromine/Surpac/GEMS/Minesight and others as required
