Job Overview

The Opportunity

Pilbara Minerals are hiring an Exploration Geologist for its Pilgangoora Project, located 120 km from Port Hedland in Western Australia’s resource-rich Pilbara region.

This is a maximum term full-time position which operates on a FIFO 8/6 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.


Reporting to the Senior Exploration Geologist, the Exploration Geologist's key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the execution of resource definition and exploration programs within Pilgangoora project area and regional tenements
  • Collect, validate, and manage geological data from field mapping, surface geochemistry, and drilling programs
  • Support the Exploration Manager with statutory reporting, and technical and operational reports as required

  • About You

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the exploration/mining industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate to achieve results.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
