About the Role

Due to continued development of our exploration prospects, Norton Gold Fields are seeking a passionate Mine Surveyor to join our Open Pit Survey team.

Responsibilities

•

Surface Survey Control Network installation and maintenance

•

Drill and blast surveys

•

Ensuring Open Pit and Waste Dump is mined to design with the use of crest pegs, toe pegs, ramp pegs, and temporary bench marks (TBMs)

•

Ore mark-ups.

•

Geological/geotechnical structure surveys

•

End-of-month (EOM) volumes

•

Stockpile surveys and volumes

•

Prism monitoring

•

Infrastructure surveys near mine

•

Water level surveys

•

Exploration/grade control surveys

•

Any other duties as required

Skills & Experience

•

Minimum 2 years survey experience within metalliferous open cut mining

•

Tertiary qualified Mine Surveyor, working towards an Authorised Mine Surveyor Certificate

•

Current unrestricted WA C class licence

•

Proficiency in Surpac mining software (highly regarded)

•

Proficiency in the use Trimble survey equipment (highly regarded)

•

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software (preferable)
