The Role

Due to unprecedented market growth over the last 12 months, and an enviable project pipeline, we currently have an exciting opportunity in our South Australian office for a full time Senior Structural Engineer.

This position will form an integral part of the business and will include undertaking structural engineering design on a wide range of projects across all project phases. The role will also entail working closely with the business leadership team to develop client relationships and identify opportunities to enhance market presence.

Key responsibilities

· Structural Engineering design on a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors

· Interaction and establishment of personal relationships within the local market

· Project collaboration with clients, consultants and contractors

· Management of projects including fee estimates, tender submissions, technical documentation, project scheduling & achievement of budgets and deadlines, under the guidance of senior staff

· Provide technical input to projects as required

· Attend site, meetings, and inspections as required.

Ideal Candidate

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic person with the following characteristics:

• Minimum of 6 years experience in structural engineering design and project delivery


• Hold an engineering degree recognised by Engineers Australia;


• Well-rounded structural engineering skill set with keen interest in further developing these skills


• The capability to liaise confidently and clearly with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels


• The ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong work ethic to achieve results collectively


• Demonstrate agile, outcomes-oriented project delivery focus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adelaide CBD, SA 5000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
