C&R Consulting (C&R) are looking for an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist to join our Townsville-based team in a full-time, permanent position, reporting to the Principal Hydrogeologist. C&R maintain a safe working environment while undertaking hydrogeological field programs that are fundamental to the management of groundwater systems related to our clients’ operations.
You will be responsible for overseeing the collation, assessment and reporting of groundwater data to ensure internal and client regulatory obligations are met. Accordingly, the role requires a highly motivated individual to work as part of a field- and office-based team of dedicated hydrogeologists and technical officers.
C&R’s scientists are renowned for their ability to assess, evaluate and interpret environmental, climatological, geomorphological, hydrological, geochemical and mineralogical analytical data, whilst providing clients with innovative solutions across an assortment of dynamic environments. Our team is comprised of a diverse range of specialists, allowing us to offer a wide range of services to our clients, including ecology, limnology, geochemistry, hydrology, geomorphology and geology.
C&R are highly experienced across diverse sectors, including government, mining, industrial, not-for-profit organisations, and commercial and urban development. The C&R team works with clients through the entire lifecycle of their project – from conception to delivery as well as any ongoing routine/compliance environmental management. C&R undertake both small- and large-scale projects across northern Australia, including in remote areas throughout Cape York Peninsula, the Gulf of Carpentaria, western Queensland and the Northern Territory.
